HOUSTON—Houston Community College Southwest unveiled its three pending Capital Improvement Plan projects at a community forum Tuesday evening, October 17, at the college's West Loop Center.
The event was attended by citizens and local public officials from each of the areas affected by the impending expansion of the college.
HCC administrators, designers, planners and architects involved in the projects were on hand to give overviews of each facility, predict needs for the future, and discuss master plans for each entity.
In addition, participants viewed renditions of each project—the 70,000 sq. ft. West Loop Center build out, 120,000 sq. ft. Stafford Learning Hub/Classroom construction and 45,000 sq. ft. Missouri City phase I construction at Sienna Plantation.
Construction is scheduled to begin in late December-early January with completion in time for students to enroll for the fall 2008 semester. |
