Public Invited to a Free Health Fair in Alief 11/7/2007

Houston – The Alief Center of Houston Community College Southwest invites the students and HCC Community to a Health Fair at the Alief Campus. It will be held on Wednesday, November 7th from 5 pm - 7:30 pm. The campus is located at 13803 Bissonnet.

Agencies Participating: HPD Family Violence Unit, Fort Bend County Women’s Center, Alief YMCA, Franklin Planner, TexanPlus SelectCare, AseraCare Hospice, Life Gift Organ Donation, Prevent Blindness of Texas, The Rose Breast Cancer Organization, Mental Health Associate, Sickle Cell Association of Texas Gulf Coast, Harris County Health Department, and Edward Jones Investments.

Schools: UT Houston School of Nursing, HCC Massage Therapy Department, HCC Nursing Program, HCC ADA Department, U of H-Downtown, U of H College of Pharmacy, Texas Woman’s University, U of H-Victoria at Sugar Land School of Nursing, American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, SW Student Life Office

There will also be FREE glucose and blood pressure screenings by the Philippine Nurses Association of Metro Houston.
