Currently, 1105 USPAP is not available.  Consult other local Real Estate Schools for course availability. You may also log on to www.computaught.com  for on-line USPAP course.

After meeting the educational requirement above, follow these steps:

1. Contact a locally Licensed Appraiser to sponsor you.

2. Submit transcript, application, & sponsoring broker form to Texas Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board.

3. Study & pass state exam. YOU’RE LICENSED!!!

Building Enclosure – 20 hrs.

Standards of Practice/Legal/Ethics – 15 hrs.

Standard Report Form/Report Writing – 15 hrs.

Other Approved Courses:  Environmental Protection Agency; Consumer Product Safety Commission; and General Business Practices. (10 hrs.)

The Professional Real Estate Inspector’s License courses are listed under
(2) departments. Real Estate 2305 Inspection and Real Estate 1335 Construction
are both under the Real Estate Department.

All other courses listed in the box on the left” without an “asterisk” are listed under the “Continuing Education Department”. You may contact the Continuing
Education Department for registration and course details at (713) 718-5303. For currently licensed Inspectors, please contact Continuing Education Department for 8 hrs. or 16 hrs. renewal courses.

In order to register for Real Estate 2305 and 1335, go to the West Loop at 5601,
the West Loop Campus. Call (713) 718-7868 for Registration hours and directions.

Completion of this program is based on your “individual” schedule and course
availability. These courses may be taken in “any” given order, however, you are
required to meet the educational requirement of completing 448.00 hrs. in order to
take the state exam. You may contact the Texas Real Estate Commission for details
on submitting your application and state exam at 1 (800) 250-8732.

The Continuing Education Department offers “Professional Real Estate Inspector
Exam Prep courses”. Call them at (713) 718-5303 for upcoming course information.

Each student is responsible for his/her own registration and fees. It is the students’ responsibility to check their schedules for cancellations. To avoid cancellation of courses, please register by Wednesday before the start date. Please check the credit schedule for information on refunds, admissions, withdrawals and other student services. Students CANNOT register for classes at 3100 MAIN STREET or the MISSOURI CITY CENTER. These are not registration facilities.

Registration Tip: Upon entry, you may be required to take a literacy test. If you’ve had prior education/courses at any other educational institution, bring the transcript with you to registration and show it to the representative. They may “waive” the literacy test and allow you to go ahead and register.
