Fall 2006 issue of diginetXpressStudents in the Writing for the Web class this fall came from various countries and walks of life. The writers for the issue of diginetXpress make up a truly international corps of journalists. As this group has developed a team for diginetXpress, points of view are as varied as the cultures they brought with them. One of the exercises in the class is to find ways of bridging differences in experience and viewpoint to form a camaraderie that respects those variances. Story ideas are those of the individual writers. While classroom experiences were in place to help open their minds to things outside the world of technology and possibly trigger story ideas, the writers still found their own moorings as they explored the topics that were of interest to them. Here is their work. Opinions and views expressed in individual articles do not necessarily reflect those of Houston Community College System, HCC Southwest, the Digital Communication Department or their faculty, staff or administration.
