Students in the Writing for the Web course enterprised their own stories for this publication. For some of the stories, the students listened to a presentation that the instructor delivered as a speech. The "speech" triggered story ideas and they researched their topics through live interviews and published sources.
Other stories came after the students viewed the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still." That brought many ideas to their minds, and they selected their topics based on the awareness the movie gave them. From the facts they gathered from live interviews and published sources, they wrote their stories and developed editorial opinions. The opinions are based on facts they acquired through their research.
