Mission Statement:
The mission of the Mathematics Department of the Southwest College of Houston Community College is to teach and advise students. The department is committed to excellence in teaching. We strive to provide a high quality education to all our students in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We encourage our students to continue educational endeavors beyond HCC and believe that our courses provide the foundation needed for higher learning.
