Bilingual Residential Wiring - Students will study the principles of operation of electrical components
and appliances utilized in single and multi family dwellings. The students
will learn the applications, selection and installation techniques of the
most common electrical devices used in homes and apartment buildings.
Students will be able to perform and troubleshoot most common
installations encountered in residential applications.
Bilingual Air Conditioning and Refrigeration - Students
will study the components, applications, and installation of mechanical
air conditioning systems including operating conditions, troubleshooting,
repair, and charging of air conditioning systems.
After completion of this class the students will be prepared to pass the
EPA Certification Test.
ESL I, ESL II, ESL III - The
purpose of this ESL course is to introduce non-native speakers to
introductory American English. Oral skills and conversational fluency are
emphasized; instruction includes vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and
writing practice.
Advance
ESL classes in Grammar, Reading & Writing, and Listening &
Speaking are also offered.
