is an intensive program that provides U.S. business professionals with
practical Spanish language instruction and cross-cultural training that
addresses barriers between U.S. businesspersons and their Latin American
counterparts. No prior knowledge of Spanish necessary.
Curriculum includes:

survival Spanish - Utilizing phonetic encoding, participants learn
functional Spanish skills to survive in a Latin American setting.

Methods
of Instruction include lecture, activities, modeling, intensive drill,
choral response, alpha-beta line, learning pairs and triads, Total
Physical Response, role-playing, simulations, and situation cards.
Also, participant’s manual contains numerous “fill-in” cultural
blocks that are for use in conjunction with instructor’s presentation. |
