The Jason Grant Scholarship
honors the memory of a young
To be considered for the scholarship,
you must:
1. Be
currently enrolled student at
2. Have a 2.5 GPA or above. (Transcript will be required if you are chosen as a finalist by SWFASA committee).
3. Be
currently enrolled in a
4. Have completed or are enrolled in at least two fine arts courses. (Art, Music, Speech, Drama).
Application Checklist:
· complete signed application.
· summit a fine arts portfolio. (slides, photos, tapes, CD, or DVD).
· 2 recommendation letters (one must be from a Southwest Fine Arts instructor, and one from an adult including teachers, employers, advisors, or friends.\
· A personal statement about your goals in the fine arts, and why you are a deserving candidate for the scholarship.
Complete the application and mail or deliver it to Southwest Fine Arts
Association,
The scholarship will be awarded at the opening of the Student Art Show
on Friday, April 18, 2008.
