Mr. Reilly earned a BA in Drama from the University of Houston, School of Theatre. His experience at HCC includes several years as Theater Production Manager for the Heinen Theater and Theater One at HCC Central College. Mr. Reilly joined the Southwest College Drama Department in 2001, where he was instrumental in assisting in the design of the current performance space at the Greenbriar Annex. As the SW Theater Production Manager, he oversees all aspects of lighting, sound, house management  and backstage production.

Over the years, Mr. Reilly's theater experience includes technical work with the Alley Theater, Houston Shakespeare Festival, Houston Children's Festival, and Stages Repertory Theatre. His lighting design includes work with the Delia Stewart Dance Company, Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, Texas Tap Ensemble and the Sandra Organ Dance Company. He has also worked for TWU #896 with Theater Under the Stars, Houston Ballet, and the Ice Capades.

In addition to his technical and design work, Mr. Reilly has performed on stage at the Unity Theater in Brenham, Texas, and in productions at the University of Houston Main and Downtown campuses.
