STATEMENT: The following sums up Cynthia Millis? philosophy about teaching, art, and life.
"I am a teacher. Teaching is a creative form of self-expression. It is one of my mediums. I try to share the joy of learning with students and colleagues each day. My art explores textures-hard, soft, things that may or may not go together. Like life, the surfaces are complex, layered, and ambiguous. The interpretation is yours ".
