A note about registration from the Department Chair ~

Dear students,

The faculty members in this department want you to succeed. We have structured our degree and certificate programs in a sequence that is designed to build upon foundation skills. Please speak with us before registering to make sure that you are entering the right class. This important step might save you time and money!

Our goal is that each of you knows the degree and/or certificate that will meet your needs. Once we have identified that, you will fill out a plan with an academic advisor. This official degree plan will enable you to register for classes in a responsible sequential manner. You won't waste time enrolling in a class for which you are not prepared or that you don't need in your degree plan. Be an informed consumer.

Non-degree or non-certificate students seeking to take a particular class of interest must also have the requisite skills to enroll in the class.  If you have questions about these skills, please call us. Instructors will evaluate your skill level and determine if you are ready for a specific course.

Remember, enrolling in the right class will save you time and money. If you have to drop a class after it has started, you will NOT get a 100% refund.
