IMED 2309 Internet Commerce

3 (2 lecture, 4 lab)

Course Description: An overview of the Internet as a marketing and sales tool with emphasis on developing a prototype for electronic commerce. Topics include database technology, creating web sites in order to collect information, performing on-line transactions, and generating dynamic content.

Learning Outcomes:  Perform audience analysis; state marketing objectives; analyze design strategies for secure data transfer; design a web project to use real-time processing capabilities intended to interact with a database.

Prereqs: IMED 1316 HTML/CSS or Departmental Approval
