ETWR 1374 Proposal Writing

3 (2 lecture, 4 lab)

Course Description: Comprehensive study of the process of preparing effective proposals for business, education, and industry. Includes responding to requests for proposals, developing unsolicited proposals, researching and evaluating information for maximum benefit, developing strategies, writing persuasively, and presenting the written proposal orally.

Learning Outcomes: Research sufficient information for an effective and persuasive proposal. Organize and analyze information to give sufficient depth to the written proposal. Include graphic presentations of data to clarify and enhance written materials. Collaborate with fellow students to plan strategies that could result in a winning proposal. Use teamwork skills to evaluate assignments and critique written and/or oral presentations.
