The Houston Community College System announces the initiation of a Human Resources Specialist Certificate for the Fall, of 2001. This certificate was developed in partnership with PeopleSoft Corporation and is the First of its kind in the country at a Community College. The program will be offered at the Stafford Campus of HCC, Southwest and will be coordinated under the Contract Training/ Continuing Education and Business Technology Departments. Students who complete the program will receive both workforce credit and a certificate verifying their competence in this area of Human Resources. The program is being guided by an advisory committee made up of businesses that use PeopleSoft software in their operations.
