of nutrition is vital to our understanding of health.
Nutritional imbalances may result in obesity, malnutrition,
and chronic diseases that adversely affect a person’s
health and longevity. By providing students with courses
that reinforce basic nutrition principles, they are prepared
for various careers in health care and for better food
