Biography

Dr. Marina Grau attended the University of St. Thomas, where she graduated with a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Marketing and Finance. Dr. Grau also attended Texas Southern University where she earned a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education with a minor in Accounting.

Dr. Grau is also a Certified Public Accountant with 20 plus years of experience in Public Accounting and Industry.

Her teaching areas are: Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis.

Dr. Grau is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at the University of St. Thomas, an active member of UST Alumni Association, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, AICPA, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Houston Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as an Accounting Advisory Board member of the University of Houston Downtown College.

Dr. Grau believes that she is more than an accountant or an educator, she is "helping our students succeed".
