The Cooperative Education program gives Accounting students the opportunity
to integrate their classroom study with practical experience by working full or
part-time in a field related to their career goal and earn college credit hours
at the same time. GENERAL INFORMATION - Earn three semester hours of college credit for your work experience - Students will work on a project for the semester/term - Examples of projects: Create an office procedures manual; revise a procedures manual; convert a manual accounting system to a computerized system; compare accounting software packages/systems;create and/or revise forms for a business; complete corporate practice set; research a topic that is of interest to you (such as the balanced budget, flat tax, stock market, and so on); job interviewing techniques. These are only a few examples. Students should comlete a project that enhances their accounting experience and education.
