This program will provide the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities.  You will learn resident's rights, communication, safety, observation, reporting & assisting residents in maintaining basic comfort and safety.  

You will also learn the theory, concepts, and skills involving specialized materials, equipment, procedures, regulations, laws and interactions within and among social systems associated with the nurse aide occupation.

When do I attend classes?

Program  courses meet Monday through Thursday at various times.   Start date is subject to change to ensure efficient student enrollment.

Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
Must have an 8th grade reading ability

Classes will run every spring, summer, and fall semester.  An orientation sessions will be held prior to the start of each registration period.
